Terrible Twos??

Are you sure they didn't mean threes? Because right now I have a pretty terrible, or at least crabby three- year old on my hands!

Generally he's a pretty well behaved little boy (we've had some bullying issues in nursery but he's getting better and it seems we get only good reports now) but the past couple of days have been hard! He has been very disobedient. He's been screaming a lot. He's been mouthy. And he's been hitting and pinching. Ugh!

I have no idea what it is, except that I know he's not getting enough sleep. Monday night he would not go to sleep until 11, only to be woken up by our (insert sarcasm here) awesome grounds crew at 7 am Tuesday. Then last night he didn't go to sleep until 10:30, and woke up at 6:30 this morning. And the napping situation hasn't been much better.

Tonight, we had jammies, FOUR stories, prayers, milk and bed. I'd tell you how he's doing but I don't want to jinx myself......call me superstitious if you like. Fingers crossed. I could use some sleep myself :)

Uhhh Brooke -
I hate to break it to you, but in my experience and in many other parents' experience, three is much worse than two. Two is a walk in the park. Three is where they get you. But four, ahhhh four is soooo sweet!

Having the same issues here. I've been told the same thing as the previous commenter...it's more the terrible threes. A new baby in the house isn't helping me either.
